
Crispy Creole Fish-Fry Batter

Thanks for the question. Below is the delicious, light and crispy batter recipe we use at Bayou-By-The-Bay!
The Wash:
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons Maison Louisianne Creole Mustard
2 tablespoons Maison Louisianne Creole Mustard
The Creole Corn Meal Batter:
1 cup corn meal
1 tablespoon Maison Louisianne Creole Spices
1 tablespoon Maison Louisianne Creole Spices
Mix milk and
Maison
Louisianne Creole Mustard.
In a separate bowl, mix Maison
Louisianne Creole Spices
into corn meal.
Dip the fish in the wash, then the Creole corn
meal, and deep fry.
Remember, wet hand, dry hand: Use one hand for the wash, the other hand for the batter.
